I wear a poppy because I remember and am thankful.

I am not much for words. I can't easily express what I feel. But just know that I don't just wear this poppy because everyone else is doing it, because it is the "thing" to do, just know that I wear it because I am proud of our soldiers, I am praying, and I appreciate the sacrifices that were made for my freedom. 

It doesn't take this day in November for me to remember the soldiers. But it does give a opportunity to come together and show our utmost appreciation for what you do. So thank you.
