Here is a post that I typed in December of 2010 recapping the year. I never posted it for some reason so I thought I would post it now.

"As 2010 walk out the door and 2011 walks in I can't help but look over the last year. It certainly has been a wild ride on the emotional side of things. A lot happened, lessons were learned, comfort zones were stretched, and I grew mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Just thinking over the bigger things that happened it is really amazing to see how through out the whole year God was at work and His hand was guiding us through each month.
At the beginning of June I had a follow up session with my hoof trimming coach which was great. Then a coupe weeks later my Mom, Aunt, sister and I went to Ohio to meet with some friends and meet for the first time some other close friends.
July was probably the hardest month of the year. A lot happened in a short amount of time and it was a very hard month. I changed a lot over the course of the next two months. I wouldn't change those months for the world in terms with how I grew and how I learned to rely on my Heavenly Father for my every need. But I can't say that the situations with which He used to teach me that lesson were my favourite though.
In August I started working at a local Chinese restaurant. That in and of itself provided a lot of learning experiences. I learned how to trust God in everything, from working with people who I didn't know, to answering the phone and taking orders, running a cash register, cooking, etc etc. I guess you could say one of the only things I didn't have to learn was how to wash dishes and wipe tables ;) But even in doing those things there was still different ways of doing them.
September brought my birthday and then October I participated in my very first Parelli Natural Horsemanship lesson day. I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be seeing as this was the first time that my horse and I were together with an instructor there watching, two actually. Everything went extremely well and I learned a lot.
November was November... not a whole lot happened. It was hard to adjust to playing and riding in smaller spaces again seeing as I has just spend two weeks where everyday my horse and I were riding and playing in huge spaces and advancing a lot. The main lesson I learned from all that was that even when we don't understand, we still need to trust God. He knows what He is doing.
December was a fairly good month. I enjoyed Christmas shopping for my family. Work continues to go well. I have learned that even though I do not like beginnings, they are something that come up every day in big and little ways.
So I look forward to 2011 and all the new things God has in store for me.
May you always know the depth, height, width, and length of His love for you,
~Keri-Lynn"
